Mt. Rainier Scenic Railroad Steam locomotive Disassembly.
This is a video i worked on all day on it started early this morning when we first moved willamette locomotive rayonier # 2 outside to have some parts removed we started removing large parts mainly the airtank,tender,CAB, and other parts This video shows this process of removal first we remove the pipes, then we remove the tender and place it on the ground, Next we remove the cab and place it on a small railroad car to be placed into the shop to be fixed up then the aairtank is removed. After that we move the engine into the shop for more work the boiler,firebox,all pipes everything is removed and will be cleaned rebuilt or replaced. I worked my on this locomotive i scraped like 50 years of crap off dirt oil and who the knows what else then we had to get the tender frame seperated from the engine itsself. This locomotive will be taken apart piece by piece and then put back together again. If you have any questions about this project sent me a message or a comment and i will anwser what i can thanks.

The 45 has been so …
The 45 has been so badly damaged by salt water that reapirs would be too costly to be worth it, and she is too small of an engine to pull passenger trains with, as for the 5 as soon as the 70 the 2 are done they are hoping to get an estimate on what needs to be done to her and how much it will cost.
