The ignition flame does not die down as usual during the heating process. It has been burning yellow but is now a blue flame. Worringly, the blue flame does not just go up the back of the fire, but is been blown up the inside of the fire charring part of the fire’s mechanics. I have removed the grille at the base of the fire and taken off the front cover of the fire and cleaned out underneath the fire. I have attempted to remove all the dust and muck. This does not seem to have made any difference and the flame continues to stay ignited whereas before, it would ignite briefly for approximately 5 to 6 seconds then die down. Now it does not die down at all.
