What is the cheapest combi boiler on the market?

My current one is so old they have stopped making the parts, it is furred up, and those nice people from British Gas spend so much time here, they are threatening to move in with me permanently, so it might be time for a new one.

it might be time for a new boiler but remember it cost more to change to a combi as you have to change all the pipework …I’m a builder and i fit combi boilers all the time …but in my own home i have the conventional set up ..hot water tank etc ..but if i was going to fit a combi i would never go for the cheapest as some are absolute rubbish ..go for reliability go for a worcester its cheaper in the long run

  1. LOL it can’t be that bad – those people from BG would soon condem it! The local builders here seem to be fitting Worcester combi boilers in new housing, so I would guess they are pretty cheap.

  3. The price charged for the same boiler varies enormously.
Suggest you 1. surf the net and 2. visit local suppliers (don’t forget to check out B&Q who often have great offers on).
When you find the best price, if you have a local supplier with a price close to it, call in to their depot and see if the can price match or knock a few pounds off. Maybe they will do a deal on fitting to go with the supply?

Got one from local supplier £20 cheaper tha anywhere else + a discount on the fitting

  4. Don’t judge an item on price alone. Do your homework and take
into account quality and a well respected brand!
