Central Heating Using Backboiler stove & Oil Boiler?

Can anyone tell me where I can get some detailed information for installing a new central heating system using a backboiler and an oil boiler together to heat the hot water and radiators. I will be doing all the work myself and understand the basics of plumbing. I am hopeing that using thermostats and mini valves it will run efficiently.

You could contact Dunsley or look on their website at the ‘Link Up’ http://www.dunsleyheat.co.uk/linkupsys.htm Also McDonalds in Glenrothes. http://www.mcdonald-engineers.com/services/index.htm

Why reduing the air supply to your central heating boiler can make your house colder?

  1. DON’T under any circumstances connect a back boiler to a central heating system, it is far too costly, and does’nt work efficiently.
I have lost count of the number of installations that I have had to rectify.
THE SCIENCE………A boiler has an output of say 35 Kw, a fire has an output of say 3 Kw, so there is the answer.
Seriously……if you really want to know more email me.
