PostHeaderIcon Need a boiler programmer that operates water and central heating independantly?

I currently have a boiler programmer (honeywell) that switches on the central heating and water together, I want one that can operate those independantly because we need the water on longer than the gas and I think it’s costing quite a bit of money.

I don’t know what I’m looking for when reading the programmer specifications, is it split channel/ duel channel? Can anyone suggest a good make / model?

Depending on what timer you have already it may be possible to adjust it for independant control assuming that your system is capable of running seperately(not all can)or you need a duel channel programmer. You will need to check first if your system is suitable.
