PostHeaderIcon why does my central heating boiler sound like a kettle then switch off after a few minutes?

It will stay off for a few minutes then start up again.I can get hot water but no heating? It is not a pressure boiler.

you might have air in the lines or the ignighter needs to be cleaned

It’s boiling, which is the noise before switching off. I don’t think it should be getting to that temperature before switching off. Makes for too much pressure.
I don’t think it’s related to the no heating issue.
