ummm are you sure … ummm are you sure #2 aluminum is rated for 100 amps? because whatever copper is rated for, aluminum has to be upside… for instance if your going to use aluminum on a 30 amp circuit, instead of using 10 guage, you would use 8…. i dont think your wires should be getting hot like that man…good thing you have a 60 amp breaker…. which wont allow you to drawn anymore….
