		<description>Timers for electric water heaters can save you up to 75% off your water heating bill. I&#039;m not sure if a gas water heater can be retrofitted to a timer. I&#039;d be very carefull about what you&#039;re doing because gas valves,on water heaters, are not meant to be used like a gas stove valve-on,off,on,off at your whim.&lt;br&gt;&lt;b&gt;References : &lt;/b&gt;&lt;br&gt;I&#039;m curious too.</description>

		<description>No...the unit has a thermostat in it to keep the water at a certain temp all of the time...if you turn it off, the unit has to heat the water for use...this takes time and energy...leave it on..!&lt;br&gt;&lt;b&gt;References : &lt;/b&gt;&lt;br&gt;</description>
