My basement recently flooded and both my hot water heater and boiler were knocked out (both natural gas). I turned off the boiler, re-lit the pilot and confirmed the thermal coupler is allowing gas to flow. However, both my thermostats are set at least 10 degrees above the current temp and I’m not getting any heat (steam heat base boards). Any suggestions on where to go from here?
my water tank has a sensor on the bottom that senses for monoxide or flammable fumes and if it does sense some it will not light the main burners this might be of some help. best of to call a heating and plumbing proffesional. for this is a serious health matter
What will happen if a boiler which is burning Natural Gas is converted to LPG diluted with air?

Not knowing how your system is installed I can only guess but someplace along the base board radiators there should be air vents like they use on the old steam radiators or even hot water radiators. If air gets tapped on the end where the line goes down air will gather and stop the flow of water. With a steam radiator you have to purge the air out, open the valve and listen to see if you hear a hissing sound, if you do this is air coming out of the system on hot water boilers it would be water. This is the best suggestion I cam make without being there. Also a low water cut off switch could be holding the burners off causing them to re-cycle. What does the water level Gauge say on the boiler, should be abut 1/2 full, you may be low on water.
