I am in the market for a new oil-fired hot water boiling furnace for my home. Some installers have recommended Peerless brand and I wondered what type of experiences you may have had with this make. Also, I am taking suggestions for other makes. Thanks!
The name is not as important as the type. Make sure that they quote you a price on a cast iron boiler. Not a steel boiler. The cast iron one is quieter, more efficient and longer lasting. Also more expensive and much heavier.
