Watch the Greenwood wood fired boiler in operation. This is a gasification boiler which is so efficient that it leaves very little ash and produces almost no smoke. It uses half the wood of traditional Wood Boilers. It has a ceramic interior that weighs over 1400 pounds which absorbs the heat and transfers it into water tubes to be transferred into the living space to be warmed.

I am getting “Off Oil” by building a garage that’s main reason is to house an alternative heating system, most likely a wood gasification boiler that will heat both our home and 3 unit rental building 4oo feet away.

The eGarage will also allow me to house my wife’s Kubota L28oo tractor (that she still has never driven). This will allow me to park at the top of our driveway in ready for a deep snow n make my first swath plowing down hill……
