40,000 lb/hr Wood Chip Boiler at Green Circle Growers, Oberlin, OH
This is a 40,000 lb/hr steam boiler manufactured by Wellons which is being decommissioned. A new wood chip plant is being constructed next door with multiple Vynke boilers. Video was taken in June 2009.

Lynx Wood Gasifier Monotube Boiler 09
A wood fired boiler that gasifies the wood and then burns it clean. Starts with a 16 gallon steel drum, lined with castable refractory. As much as I like to keep things compact, typical firewood dictates the size. Although still no bigger than an average BBQ grill. The water wall and spiral sections of tubing will be installed next. The boiler tubing section is designed so it can be easily lifted out without disconnection of tubing or electrical. I am uploading my experiments as thanks to all those who have posted their work and inspired my direction. Thank you!
